Since 1847
Started in the Abtstraat in Maastricht and successful as a flower nursery because of the large garden there. The move to the Wolfstraat 18 in 1888 was the result and gave the opportunity to serve the customers even better with plants and flowers from their own cultivation.
2001
In 2001 we moved to the posh Stokstraat and settled in the former home of comedian Toon Hermans that previously also served as a rectory. The exclusive building has a beautiful monumental city garden and forms a whole with the flowers and plants in the interior.
2009
The flower shop has been a purveyor to the Royal Decree for a long time. Resuscitation is currently being considered. The current owner Michel Smeets is the 5th generation who has been running the flower shop together with his wife Loes since 2009 and this also marks the rejuvenation of the business; renovated, new corporate identity, fresh and colorful decoration of the store and an expanded range.
2015
In 2015 we moved to Graanmarkt 2 around the corner from Stokstraat. Here we have a very generous range of flowers, pottery, vases, plants and accessories and floral arrangements for all occasions: weddings, parties, funerals, but also just a cheerful gift for a loved one.
